The ease or difficulty factor will all depend on how you want the box customized.

If you simply want to put your company name or logo on the box, any competent company selling on Alibaba should be able to do this for you. The factory will provide you with a carton template and you simply have your graphic designer develop the design and position the information where you want. Then send them a digital file they can give to the carton manufacturer they use. Again, remember these simple facts: you may have to purchase a minimum order quantity to get custom printing done, and if the factory or supplier you have chosen cannot print a simple carton for you, cancel your order and find a new supplier. If they cannot do a simple carton, they will probably not be very reliable with their quality control or shipping times.

If you want to have the product packaged in a full color retail display carton, again, use the carton template the factory will provide, or if you want a larger or smaller carton for marketing purposes, use a sample of the product to develop a more detailed retail box. Use your own graphic designer to make sure the picture quality is adequate, and the wording and specifications are all correct. You will need to apply for your own UPC number for retailer use. Please don’t rely on the factory for this critical point. The factory personal may not be competent to write correct, accurate copy, so do it yourself to guarantee best results. Then send the factory either a digital file or the actual printing film. Use whatever method the factory requires.

Again, nothing is free so be prepared to pay additional for custom packaging and possibly meet higher minimum purchase quantities.
