Yes you can. This is a smart approach so you can differentiate your product. Alibaba offers a lot of benefits but one of the drawbacks is that they can also sell to your competitors. Therefore, putting your own value-add on the product (label, brand, etc) protects you if your product does well and others want to also enter the market.

Let's assume your label is stitched, pressed, or printed onto your product. You could find a China-based company to do this (your manufacturer will likely have suggestions or you can also search Alibaba for these services separately). Personally, I am not a big fan of this option.

Preferably, it's a good idea to ship your product to the US location it will be warehoused and find a stitching, pressing, printing company nearby who can complete the, value-add service locally (or do it yourself). It protects your brand, creates a US-based job, should still be very affordable, and allows an extra pair of eyes to do quality inspection before products go to your customers.
